Description

Floating without gravity in the transparent vastness of the Mediterranean, embraced by its intense blue, bewitched by its forms, amazed by colours and lullabied by its silence. Entering a new dimension: Our “Evasioni Blu”, our Blue Escapes. That is the experience we offer people; a get-away from busy hectic lives, calm, relaxation and getting back in touch with nature.

Evasioni Blu Diving is a young dive centre that was founded in 2017. The idea was to set up an internationally orientated high quality PADI Dive Resort in the vicinity of Palermo. We chose to establish this dive centre in Isola delle Femmine, a charming small fishermen’s village, strategically located between Palermo city and the airport and lying within the Marine Protected Area of Capo Gallo-Isola delle Femmine.

Offering professionality, safety, personal attention, tailored made PADI diving courses taught by dedicated instructors, high quality equipment, spacious zodiacs, and providing customers all the necessities and comforts that divers need soon let Evasioni Blu Diving become a success. The dive centre already reached the PADI 5- star recognition and upgraded to an IDC Dive Resort within a year.

This success led to the opening of a second dive centre in Ustica, a small idyllic Sicilian island that holds the title “oldest Marine Protected Area of Italy”. Here you can enjoy the clear waters full of marine life and typical Mediterranean underwater landscapes full of caves, passages and much more. Whether you have never breathed underwater before, are a beginner in scuba diving or experienced certified diver, Ustica offers an unforgettable experience for all.

There are 13 dive sites offering various itineraries. All dive sites are reachable within a few minutes of navigation from the port of Ustica. Enjoy the caves where big groupers hide, the canyons and endless passages with splendid colour plays of “Il Medico” dive. Be amazed by the clouds of barracuda’s and big pelagic that swim around the wrecks of “Colombara”. Explore the reef of “Falconiera” looking for critters such as nudibranchs, moray eels, octopuses and gorgonians or the caves and caverns of “Pastizza” for crustaceans. Admire the colonies of shrimps moving synchronously like a carpet over the rocks of the “Grotta dei Gamberi”. Travel into the past by following one of the archaeological underwater routes and learn from the ancient anchors of the “Secca d’Africa”. And there is so much more…
